Hema Lata is currently undertaking her undergraduate studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), in Melbourne. She is now going crazy with assignments and of course, reading.
In 2012, Hema graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, having majored in Fine Arts (Sculpture) and participated in minimART 2.0 at The Substation (Singapore).

Iris is a work that attempts to experiment with idea of changes in the iris of the eye in what it sees- through careful build-up of torn bits of crumpled paper that used to be parts of whole pieces of papers.
